Lightning Craft Mod

Lightning Craft Mod
Lightning Craft Mod 1.10.2,1.10,1.9.4,1.9,1.8.9,1.7.10 is said only the very brave or the very stupid mess with one of the most dangerous forces of nature. For one to harness such raw power, one would need very specialized tools and machines. That’s where LightningCraft comes in. Use the power of lightning to make stuff!
What can you do in Lightning Craft?
  • Make air terminals and lightning power cells to store LE (Lightning Energy)
  • Swing golf clubs in the air to summon lightning to store at first, but then find better methods of doing so
  • Use the LE to run machines and create powerful items, such as Electricium and Skyfather Shards
  • Transmit your LE from base to another location if you so desire with transmitters and receivers
  • Electricium is a metal that is a tier above diamond, as it is made by infusing an iron ingot with a gold ingot and a diamond. Swords and Hammers made from this metal have a chance to summon lightning on foes you strike.
  • Make Kinetic tools, armor, and more that run on mobile lightning power
  • The Skyfather shard has physical properties slightly above Electricium, but its electrical properties are well beyond it. Anything made from this mystical item repairs itself automatically. Skyfather tools have auto-smelting with luck (+1 fortune when auto-smelting), the skyfather hoe has quick farm (hoe a 1×3 row at a time, use again to get a 5×5 hoed area), and the sword and hammer have a greater chance to strike your foes with lightning.
  • Turns out, the gods don’t like mortals having such control over mother nature, so they’ve sent ones to deal with you, starting you on your divine journey to the Underworld and beyond…
  • And much more!

From the back:
Some receivers:
The Underworld Portal:
Kinetic Armor and Sword:
Skyfather Armor and Sword:
The Lightning Guide also shows you infusion recipes!
Oh, and it has some sweet Thaumcraft integration. Aspects for everyone!
That’s about it. Try it out!

Welcome to a brand new dropper map! This map will take you on a journey through 14 different dropper levels. Some are easy, others are more difficult but they all have the same goal: amaze you with the beauty of the most important biome. The goal of a dropper is to (as the name says it) free fall from high up and avoid many obstacles the evil map creator might have added for you to fail. This makes it challenging as you have to think fast and predict what will come on you. After all there are many paths to the bottom, so your turn to use your wisdom to choose the easiest path to water.

A few days past, we took a brief look at a project which re-creates the Great Fire of London (1666), by a joint effort of some top-notch build teams, and the Museum of London. At the time, no maps were available for the public to see directly, but that has changed!

The project aims to cover the event in detail - over the next 9 months, 3 total maps will be released, each focusing on a different point of the fire. The first map, which is currently available, shows London as it was in 1666, before the fire started. There is a surprising amount of detail in the map, and history enthusiasts should be able to accurately trace any location in the city accurately from the map alone. In addition, the map will have challenges to overcome and secrets to uncover, which go over the events preceding the fire. Later maps will also cover the fire as it happens (with an opportunity to try fighting the fire yourself), and the aftermath, with an opportunity to try rebuilding the city directly.

All said, it is an incredibly ambitious project. The first map is pretty amazing on its own, and definitely worth a look. Can you discover what led up to the fire?

Great Fire 1666 is a collaboration with Adam Clarke, Digital producer, game designer Dragnoz, and mapbuilders Blockworks. The hashtag #GreatFire1666 will be used to post updates on social media.

As one might expect, the Museum of London has a robust exhibition covering the Great Fire as well, which you can visit in person! Learn more about the Great Fire of 1666 and experience 17th century London for yourself at their interactive and exciting exhibition, Fire! Fire! 23 July 2016 – 17 April 2017. Tickets start from £8 for adults, and £4 for children.

Optifine HD Mod for Minecraft 1.10.2/1.10/1.9.4/1.7.10

Optifine 1.10.2 and 1.9.4 is one of the most commonly recognized mods amongst the Minecraft community–and for good reasons. Widely regarded as one of the few mods that revolutionized the way Minecraft is played, Optifine has added a multitude of features that smooths performance, enhances graphics, and allows hardware to better process the game’s textures.

But that’s simply Optifine in general. This particular mod enhances Optifine for 1.10 builds of Minecraft. Optifine HD focuses on making the game more aesthetically pleasing while giving a considerable boost to performance speed. Many players who use this build of Optifine will notice a significant increase in framerate. While a noticeable spike in framerate is a common feature, Optifine HD provides many other features as well. In conjunction to processing performance, this mod also provides support for HD textures. Some notable examples are HD fonts, animated terrain and item textures, customs colors, custom palettes, and custom lighting. This mod also allows for more variable render distance, ranging from tiny to extreme. Some sky textures are visible in short render distances, a feature not commonly available in vanilla.  This mod also adds mipmaps support, making it so objects at a distance have an easier time rendering and therefore look better than compared to a vanilla experience. Optifine HD also adds support for simpler visual features, including fog control, better grass, better snow, and clearer water textures. Sometimes the simplest improvements are the most noticeable, and this mod is a testament to that concept.

On the more technical side, Optifine HD mod adds advanced features for those who are extremely familiar with the more complicated side of visual effects. Anisotropic filtering is one such example, providing support for mipmapped features within the game. Antialiasing is also provided, which often adds smoothness for some of the rougher, more pixelated textures seen in game. V-Sync is provided as well, increasing the average processing performance by adjusting framerate to better match the refresh rate of the player’s monitor. Support for Advanced OpenGL is added as well, a feature most noticed by players adept in advanced graphical features. In Layman’s terms, OpenGL adjusts the in-game artifacts, creating either a better visual experience or a better processing performance. With Optifine HD, the player can adjust how the game loads chunks. For strong processors, a player can adjust chunks to load at an incredible distance so that moving from one point in the game to another feels more like an open experience rather than a string of loading up sections to the game. For those with less powerful computers, chunks can be preloaded. This often allows certain chunks to not be loaded, making it so the game will not waste resources on loading an area that will not be explored. What good is loading up parts of a game that aren’t used, anyway?
Finally, Optifine allows for an incredible amount of graphical configuration. Certain animations, such as fire, water, lava, explosions, particles, and many other animations can be disabled to further increase processing performance. By default, these features are enabled. If you are looking for a mod to increase the graphical aspects of Minecraft, or you simply want the game to run faster, Optifine HD is definitely worth checking out.
